I am the daughter of Ken and Betsy Eisses. I was born and raised in Anchorage Alaska. I am married to a wonderful husband who is also a lifelong Alaskan. We met at UAA in Intro to Mathematical Proofs. I teach high school math. I love to travel, camp, boat and fish. I am excited about new adventures and stepping out my comfort zone. I wouldn't consider myself shy, but I am uncomfortable sharing things about myself to people I don't know well, like I am doing now.

I am the oldest in my family. I have two wonderful siblings, a sister and a brother. Recently my parents got a dog named Zoe who has become another of the family. I am very fortunate to have 3 grandparents alive and doing well. From the earliest I can remember, my parents have always taken us out in PWS in our family boat. We have traveled to Southeast Alaska in our boat, our most recent trip to Petersburg and spend time on the Kenai Peninsula at our cabin. My mom is also a teacher and my dad an engineer.
