Take Wing Alaska Program Director leaving

Lots of changes are happening in the RURE department of Alaska Humanities Forum this spring. Several of our programs are both growing and evolving. Take Wing Alaska program director, Amber Frizzell, is leaving the Forum. Amber will now be working for Alaska Permanent Capital Management as a Client Relations Liaison. While RURE staff and the Forum on a whole will greatly miss Amber, Take Wing Alaska has greatly benefitted from her guidance and management.

RURE Office Closure

We are closing the office for the holidays: December 24-25 and January 1st. Staff will be light the week of December 24 and December 31st. If you have an emergency please contact staff directly.

Sister School Exchange Spring Orientation

The Sister School Exchange has finished their Spring Orientation. This year SSE will have 20 teams traveling from February through May and one Fall team will travel in January. Teachers are now posting their profiles and registering students. Look for updated team profiles during the holidays.
2012-13 offers a new website design, so take some time to view the new badges and blogging features.
